Topic 01

Getting around the site

Dinkomart sells in two directions, and the menu is split the same way. Knowing which half you are in is most of the navigation.

For your homeFor your farm
WhatFresh Produce, Organic FoodsBio-Fertilisers, Farm Machinery
ExamplesVegetables, fruit, flours, pulses, oils, jaggeryCompost, cultures, chaff cutters, pumps, sprayers
How you get itAdd to cart and check outCart for inputs; machinery is quoted by enquiry
  • Shop opens the full menu, split into those two halves. Every category is a link.
  • The search box looks across the whole catalogue — type a vegetable, a brand or a machine name.
  • The basket icon opens your cart from any page, without losing your place.
  • The heart icon is your wishlist — topic 07.

The strip that scrolls along the very top carries the things worth knowing today: the order cut-off, the delivery promise, and anything seasonal.

Making it comfortable to read

  • Light or dark. The moon/sun button switches between them, and the site remembers your choice. If you have not chosen, it follows your phone or computer's own setting.
  • Sound. Small interface sounds are off unless you turn them on, and the setting is remembered.
  • Motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site respects it and the animations stop.
Try it The four controls on the right of the header. The theme button really works.
These are the shop's own controls, running the shop's own code. Pressing the moon or sun really does switch this whole page, and the choice is remembered.
You do not need an account.

There is nothing to sign up for. Your basket and your wishlist are kept in your own browser, so they are still there when you come back on the same device. You give a name and address only when you check out.

Topic 02

Using the shop page

The shop page lists everything we sell. It shows nine products at a time — press Load more for the next nine.

The filters

On a computer the filters sit down the left. On a phone, tap Filter to open them. Two of them only appear when you are looking at machinery, because they do not mean anything elsewhere.

PriceFive bands, from under ₹100 up to above ₹20,000
How it is soldBuy online, or quoted on enquiry
OffersAnything currently priced below its MRP
AvailabilityHide anything out of stock
Application machineryDairy, cattle, fodder, irrigation, crop protection, tillage and sowing
Power source machineryManual, electric, petrol, or motor optional

Each choice shows how many products it will give you, so you never pick one and land on an empty page. The filters you have chosen appear as small chips above the results — tap the × on one to remove just that filter, or Clear all to start again.

Try it Real filters over the real catalogue. Watch the counts change as you choose.
This is the shop page itself, running in a window. The count beside each option is worked out with that option left out, so it tells you what you would get rather than what you already have — that is the mechanism behind “you never land on an empty page”. It shows six at a time here rather than nine, to keep the window short.

The web address changes as you filter. So if you find something worth sharing — “all the pumps under ₹20,000” — you can copy the address out of the bar and send it, and it will open exactly what you were looking at.

Topic 03

Reading a product

Try it A real product card. Hover a number on the card, or a row in the key beside it.
This is the shop's own card, drawn by the same function the shop grid calls, from the same catalogue. The price and the pack are today's. The Add and heart buttons work — they run the real code, into a basket that belongs to this example and not to you.
On the cardWhat it means
The picture, or a drawn tileSome products show a photograph; others show a clean drawn tile in the product's own colour. Both are normal. We only publish a photograph when we have one we have checked is genuinely of that product
The proof lineOne checkable fact about the product — “snap tested at grading”, “cured in the field a fortnight”, “lifetime guarantee on the cutting wheel”
The priceWhat you pay
A struck-through priceThe MRP, shown only when we are selling below it. If there is no struck-through price, the item sells at one price
Sold byThe pack — 1 kg, 500 g, 1 pc, a dozen
A stock badgeAppears only when something is low or out of stock. No badge means it is available
Why there are no star ratings.

We do not show ratings, review counts or “bestseller” scores, because we would have to invent them until enough real orders exist to earn them. Instead every product carries one fact you can actually check. That is the proof line, and it is the line worth reading.

On the product's own page

  • The full description, and a specification table for anything technical — power, capacity, dimensions, guarantee.
  • Options, where a product has them. Machines are often sold with or without a motor, and the price differs.
  • Related products from the same category.

Topic 04

The cart, and free delivery

Tap Add to cart on any product. The basket icon in the header shows how many items you have; tap it to open your cart from any page.

Delivery₹39
Free deliveryOn orders over ₹499

The cart shows a meter telling you how much more you need to add to reach free delivery. When you cross ₹499 the delivery line changes to Free on its own.

Try it Add things and watch the meter fill and the delivery line change.
That meter, those steppers and that summary are the cart page’s own, running its own code against real prices and the real ₹499 threshold. The basket is this example’s, not yours — nothing you press here is saved or ordered.

What you can do in the cart

  • Change a quantity with the + and − buttons, or remove a line entirely.
  • Save for later moves something out of the cart without losing it — it goes to your wishlist.
  • Suggestions at the bottom are things that go with what you have already chosen.

Your cart is kept in your browser, so closing the tab does not empty it, and it stays in step if you have the shop open in more than one tab.

Topic 05

Checkout and delivery

Open your cart and press Checkout
Tell us where it is going

Your name, phone number, address and pincode. The pincode matters more than it looks — crates are sorted and routed by pincode when they reach the city, so it is what gets your box onto the right van.

Choose a delivery window

Pick the slot that suits you.

Pay when it arrives

Cash on delivery is how you pay. Card, UPI and netbanking are shown on the page but are not switched on yet — nothing is charged online, and we do not ask for card details anywhere on this site.

Place the order

You will see a confirmation on screen, and we confirm your delivery window with you on WhatsApp.

Try it The two choices checkout asks you to make, exactly as they appear.
This is the checkout's own pin-code field and payment list. Type a pin code and you get the real validation. Card and UPI are greyed because that is how you will find them on the real page — visible, but not switched on. Nothing is charged online, and we never ask for card details anywhere on this site.

The 9 PM cut-off

Order before 9 PM and it is cut the next morning.

Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a buyer. Your vegetables are harvested against orders that are already placed, which is why the cut-off exists and why it is worth beating. Orders after 9 PM go into the following day's cut.

Getting it to you cold

From the field crate to the van, produce is held at 4 degrees. Crates are split by pincode at the city hub and go out on the delivery round from there.

If something is not right

Tell us the same day. Produce is perishable, so the sooner we know, the better we can put it right. Contact us has every way of reaching us, and WhatsApp is usually fastest.

Topic 06

Buying machinery

Machinery does not have an Add to cart button. It has Enquire on WhatsApp, and that is deliberate rather than a limitation.

The price depends on where you are, so quoting one online would be misleading.

Three things change it: freight, because a chaff cutter costs a different amount to move to Malavalli than to Bengaluru; installation, because several machines need fitting and a demonstration; and the government subsidy, which is filed per district. The MRP is shown so you know the range you are in.

Try it Change the option and watch the enquiry message rewrite itself.
The message shown is built by the same code the real Enquire on WhatsApp button uses, so it is exactly what would be sent. Change the option and watch the machine, the wording and the MRP inside it change. You add your district; we work out freight, installation and the subsidy from there.
Open the machine you are interested in

Check the specification table and the options — most machines are sold with or without a motor.

Press Enquire on WhatsApp

It opens a message with the machine, the option and the MRP already written in, so you do not have to describe what you are asking about.

Tell us your district

That is what we need to work out freight and the subsidy paperwork.

We quote you

A real number for your location, including delivery and installation.

We fill the subsidy paperwork in with you

The machinery range is approved for government subsidy. We do the district file alongside you rather than handing you a form — it takes a few days, and it is part of the service.

Guarantees

Guarantee terms are printed on each machine's own page, taken from the manufacturer's documentation. The chaff cutter range is manufactured by Saraswati Agro Industries.

Topic 07

Saving things for later

The heart icon on any product adds it to your wishlist. The heart in the header opens it.

It is useful for two things: keeping an eye on a machine you are thinking about, and parking something out of your cart without losing it — Save for later in the cart moves it here.

Try it Press a heart. It fills, and the counter in the header goes up.
These are the shop's own cards and the shop's own hearts. On a phone the heart is always visible; on a computer it appears when you point at the card. Nothing here is saved to your real list — this example keeps its own.
Your wishlist lives in this browser.

Because there is no account to sign in to, your saved items stay on the device you saved them on. They will still be there next time you visit on that device, but they will not follow you to your phone.

Topic 08

The four categories

CategoryWhat is in it
Fresh ProduceFor your homeFruit and vegetables, cut the morning they go out
Organic FoodsFor your homePantry staples — flours, pulses, oils, jaggery, spices
Bio-FertilisersFor your farmCompost, bio-cultures and organic inputs
Farm MachineryFor your farmChaff cutters, pumps, sprayers, milking machines, tillage

The first three go through the cart. Machinery is quoted on enquiry — topic 06.

The split is the business: households buy produce, that money goes back to the plots that grew it, and those plots buy their compost, seed and machinery from the same account. You can read the whole loop stage by stage on the About page.

Topic 09

What is in season

The home page carries a seasonal panel that opens on whichever season it currently is, listing the crops that are genuinely at their best right now. Each one links straight to the product.

Try it The seasonal panel from the home page. It opens on the season it actually is.
This is the home page's seasonal panel, running its own code. It opened on whichever season it is as you read this, and the prices are today's.
SeasonMonthsWhat to expect
SummerMarch to JuneFruit months — mango, watermelon, sweet lime. Leafy vegetables bolt in the heat, so green bunches are smaller and do not keep as long
MonsoonJuly to SeptemberLeaf crops come back and are at their best. Rain-splashed produce needs washing and does not keep, so it goes out fresher and more often
Post-monsoon and winterOctober onwardThe main vegetable window

It is worth a look before you order. Buying with the season is cheaper, and it tastes better.

Topic 10

The Farm Box

A weekly crate of whatever is genuinely good that week, delivered on the same next-day promise as everything else.

It is deliberately not a fixed list.

Nobody who grows vegetables can promise the same six things every week — a hard monsoon or a good mango season changes what is worth putting in a box. So the Farm Box is a promise about quality and timing, not a promise about contents. What is going in each week is published before it goes out.

You can skip or pause any week before the 9 PM cut-off, so a week away does not mean a wasted crate. The Farm Box page has the sizes and what a typical week looks like.

Topic 11

The WhatsApp button

The round green button in the bottom-right corner of every page opens a WhatsApp chat with Dinkomart, on +91 82177 32257. A person at Dinkomart answers it.

What happens when you tap it:

  • On a phone, WhatsApp opens. On a computer, WhatsApp Web opens in a new tab.
  • The first message is already written for you. On a product page it names that product, so we know straight away what you are asking about.
  • Change the message as you like, then press send.
Good for anything the page does not answer.

Prices for a large acreage, which bio-input suits your crop, whether a machine fits your farm, or a question about an order you have placed. Prefer to talk? Call the same number — topic 13.

Topic 12

Where we deliver

We grow and pack in Mandya district, Karnataka, and deliver out to households in Bengaluru and Mysuru.

How your crate gets to you

Your order joins the morning's cutting list

If you ordered before 9 PM.

It is cut and crated at the collection centre
Into the cold chain at 4 degrees
Split by pincode at the city hub

Which is why your pincode matters at checkout.

Out on the van, and to your door

You pay the driver in cash.

If you are not sure whether we reach you, ask before you order — the fastest way is WhatsApp, and the numbers are on the Contact page.

Topic 13

Getting in touch

You want toBest way
Ask about an order you have placedWhatsApp, with your order number
Change or cancel an orderWhatsApp, before 9 PM on the day you ordered
Tell us something arrived wrongWhatsApp, the same day
Ask about a machine, or get a quoteThe Enquire on WhatsApp button on that machine
Ask whether we deliver to youWhatsApp, with your pincode
Partner a plot, or sell through usThe Farmers page
Anything elseThe Contact page

Have your order number ready if it is about an order — it is on your confirmation, and it is built out of the date you ordered:

Live What an order number placed today would look like.
The middle six digits are the date you ordered, so you can usually tell which order a number belongs to just by reading it.

Who you are buying from

Two registered businesses work together here, and it is worth knowing which is which:

  • DINKOMART ONE LLP — holds the order book. This is who you buy from.
  • DINKO AGRITECH — the GST-registered supplier business and the registered trademark.

The About page lists the registrations and the paperwork behind them.

What next

Three places to go from here.
